I wasn't thinking that originally, but it is doable and a good idea. Since the dashboard already serves as an overview of your courses, there's no need for a dedicated "my courses" page, so it might as well be an expandable menu with links directly to each of your courses
Sorry, basic question: Is this going to act as a dashboard to moodle, or a dashboard to a new and improved moodle-killer? (AKA Moodfano)
I love this dashboard, love the idea of having all this info in one place. Just wondering what happens if I click "assignment," for example. If it's working with moodle, I'd assume this would bring me to a create assignment page. Again, if this is in moodle, what kind of assignment will it create? Where (in which unit) on the course's moodle page will it show up?
Maybe include a button/link to scholarchip for attendance? (it's too bad we have to use that. How cool would it be to have attendance buttons for each class? You click it, there's an sweet interface for just that class' attendance, and you move on...)
Will all of a teacher's courses show up on this page, or only the courses that meet on a given day? Maybe give teachers the ability to hide and/or collapse class cards? (I really only work a lot with 4 classes, but have a ton of moodle courses...advisory, senior class, science fair, etc. that I never really do anything with)
I'd also love the ability to customize the class name. Instead of ENG-025, I'd like to be able to name it "Gold English" or "B band English" or something.
This may be a school-wide discussion/decision, but are we trying to reinforce the use of email over moodle messaging? If so, then it would be cool if that "message" button automagically created an email that could be blasted out to an entire class. Maybe BCC everyone so they don't accidentally reply-all. If that can't happen, is it possible to create email groups based on a class' roster? Then the message button could launch gmail and/or mail.app and create a new message. The user then addresses it to "gold science" or something, and it gets sent to everyone on the roster. Or, maybe the message button gives the user the choice of moodle message or email? One message button for each option?
Could/should teachers be given the option to create links in each card? For example, maybe someone uses a Google site or a wiki as a main portal for their class. 'Twould be nice to be able to link to it from the dashboard.

Will "My Courses" display courses in the sidebar or will peeps need to click through to see them?
